Looking for a fun way to spend some of your free time during the summer? Or a way to get ahead before joining a new band next school year? We teach weekly afternoon summer camps for students at all different levels...and it is not too late to sign up! This experience is a daily group lesson where the students learn musical concepts, and then learn and perform a song for the end of the session.
The cost is only $135 per student per week.
Camps are held at the residence of one of the teachers in Mesa, AZ (Gilbert and McDowell or Val Vista and University). The exact address will be given to registered students a week before their assigned camp date.
Each camp week we will have afternoon lessons for 2.5 hours (1:30pm to 4pm) from Monday to Friday. During the lessons, we'll cover topics like music theory, technique, rhythm, and intonation, as well as practicing and preparing a song to perform at the end of the week. Saturday morning (time TBD) will be the final performance for each group.
With the exception of piano, students are expected to provide their own instrument!
In addition to summer camps, we are always open to teaching new students on location at Mesa, AZ (Gilbert+McDowell, Val Vista+University) Lessons start at $15 for 30 minutes and $25 for an hour, with the first lesson free.
